Most of the members are employees of the Norwegian oil company Statoil, working at the company’s headquarters in Stavanger and sharing a passion for music. Previously, the big band has performed at a number of jazz festivals, including Riverboat Jazzfestival (Denmark), Upton Jazz Festival, Roskilde Jazz Days (Denmark), Jazzkaar (Tallinn), Maijazz (Stavanger) and Molde Jazzfestival. The band will present a program including both Duke Ellington and Norwegian music as well as tunes from the traditional big band catalogue. The musical director is Tor Yttredal..
